Everlook Photography | FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

We receive a number of emails that generally fall into one of the categories below.  Please read the answers to these frequently asked questions below, and if you still have an enquiry, we welcome your email to us at dm@everlookphotography.com.

Do you sell prints and how much are they?

We sell prints of all the images you see on this website.  To buy a print, simply click on the "Buy" button beneath the image you want, and then click on "Select Product " to choose your size and finish.  If you cannot see all the images in a gallery, click on the 4-square icon on the bottom left of screen to bring up the thumbnails.

I saw a picture you put up on Facebook/Instagram/500px and I want to buy a print of it, but I can’t find it on your website.

Not all of our images make it onto our website.  Some images are different viewpoints of the same subject, so we generally only choose one image from each location, unless the composition is markedly different.  If you would like a print of an image that you saw on one of our social media sites, simply email us at dm@everlookphotography.com with the size and finish you would like, and we can provide you with a quote.

I don’t want a canvas, and you only have Fine Art and Metallic Prints available.

These finishes are the most popular and are also the best media for displaying our works.  However, if you would like a different paper, please email us and we will do our best to source it for you.  Please note that this can increase delivery times.

I am an international customer, can I still buy a print?

Of course you can!  We can roll unstretched canvas, fine art and metallic prints into a durable tube for shipping to you.  Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

How long before I receive my print?

Within Australia, please allow up to 4 weeks for delivery.  For international customers, please allow 4-6 weeks.

I received my print but it doesn’t match the image on your website.

We have optimised our print preparation process to match the images as seen on our monitors.  However, monitors vary widely in quality and even professional-grade monitors can be calibrated to different settings. Our prints should closely resemble the image as seen on your monitor when viewing our website, but we cannot guarantee that our prints will match the image on a monitor we have not worked with. If you are unhappy with your print, we offer a return policy (see below).

What is your return policy?

We will accept returns for a full refund (not including shipping costs) for 14 days from the date of delivery if you are dissatisfied with the print. You are responsible for the cost of shipping the print back to us, including the cost of insuring it for the full retail value, and the print must arrive in saleable condition for a refund to be issued.

What equipment do you use?

Currently we work with two Canon bodies, the 5DMkIII and the 6D.  Our lenses of choice are the Canon 16-35mm f/2.8L lens and the 17-40mm f/4L lens.  We also have in our kit a 24-70mm f/2.8L II lens, the 70-200mm f/2.8 IS II, a 2x II extender, and an assortment of graduated neutral density filters, neutral density filters and polarisers.

I would like to use one of your images for our website/book cover/brochure/calendar etc.

We are happy to license out any image you see on our website.  We also have a second website where we have another 26 galleries which contain more stock-like images, or multiple compositions of the same subject.  If you are interested in licensing an image, please send us an email at dm@everlookphotography.com with as many details as possible (type of usage, print run, placement on website, size/resolution, period of license, exclusivity etc.) so we can provide you with a quote.  If you are a charity, educational body or not-for-profit organisation, you are also welcome to contact us and we will consider a reduced fee.

I want to make my images look like yours. Can you give me some tips/help me with my post-processing?

A selection of free video tutorials can be found under the “Learn” tab that you can view.  We also have our entire post-processing steps condensed into an action and a 10 minute video accompanying it, called "The Everlook Photography Style: How to Achieve It".  In the future we hope to put together a full workflow tutorial to take you from in-field capture to final print/web presentation.  If you have other suggestions feel free to email us with them!

We also have some ebooks available, which have various tips and techniques on how we create our images.  These are available for purchase here.
