Welcome, and thank you for visiting Everlook Photography. In the following pages, you will find a showcase of images that represent the photographic vision of Dylan Toh and Marianne Lim.

Join us as we explore the breathtaking landscapes of this planet, from surreal dawns to tranquil sunsets, towering mountains to roaring waterfalls. We strive to capture the ever-changing world around us, using our cameras as a means of expressing our artistic vision of the wilderness.

As working professionals, we rely on photography to escape the routines of the working week, and are self-taught photographers; thus it is that we are still developing our own unique styles. However, we both aspire to the same goal - to attempt to bring to you, the viewer, images of our experiences as we recall them, from places we have visited over the years.

We hope to convey a sense of awe and appreciation through our photographs, which are a reflection of how, and what, we see. The ability to do such a thing is wholly individualistic, and we combine the essential reality of a scene - a rock, a river, a mountain - with our own interpretation of it; the colours of the water, the reflection of light in the sky.

We ask you to journey with us now, and hope we have done some justice to the spectacular scenes we have had the opportunity to witness.

About Dylan

Dylan’s images are characteristically made using wide-angle lenses, translating to stunning photographs with exceptional depth of field. His fondness for dawn shoots sees him frequently awake from four o’clock most mornings in order to capture his chosen subjects. Dylan’s idea of a photography session usually involves one of the following; getting wet, climbing rocks, or hiking in the wee hours of the morning!

About Marianne

Marianne’s penchant for details means that she is drawn to subjects at eye level (which isn’t all that high) or lower. As a consequence, her images often portray the smaller environments of a larger landscape. She is more conducive to sunset sessions and has a soft spot for animals of the furry kind, but will, on occasion, arise early for those sunrise shoots!

In General

We are drawn to landscapes and the wilderness, but our travel experiences are not purely defined by only these two elements. So it is that you will find a mix of portraiture and cultural travel images scattered amongst our nature photography... and occasionally even the odd wedding or two!
